This policy explains how M² Engineering handles information submitted through the current website and its project-inquiry form.

Information We Collect
When you use the Contact form, we may collect your name, email address, organization, phone number if supplied, project information, preferred timeline, selected budget range, and any file you choose to upload. We also receive any other information you choose to include in your message.
Why We Collect It
We use submitted information to review your inquiry, understand the engineering question, assess whether it aligns with our capabilities, respond to you, and maintain reasonable records of the conversation. We do not use the Contact form to create public profiles or sell personal information.
Form Processing and Attachments
The Contact form is processed using Netlify Forms. Information submitted through the form, including any uploaded attachments, is transmitted to and stored by Netlify and then made available to M² Engineering for review. Depending on Netlify's infrastructure and service providers, information may be processed or stored outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. Submitted information is used only to review and respond to inquiries. M² Engineering does not sell Contact form information. Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, export-controlled, or highly sensitive information through this initial inquiry form.
Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Tools
The current public website does not use separate analytics products, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers. Hosting and form processing are provided through Netlify. Outbound links to LinkedIn may cause that third party to process information according to its own policies if you choose to follow the link. The site does not embed third-party social widgets or media players that load automatically.
Retention and Access
Inquiry information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to review and respond to the inquiry, maintain appropriate business records, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted by emailing contact@m2engineering.tech.
Security and Sensitive Information
We take reasonable care when handling inquiry information, but no online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not submit confidential, proprietary, export-controlled, or highly sensitive information through the initial inquiry form. A more appropriate information-sharing method can be discussed after initial contact when necessary.
